Hi i am 18 years old and i ma currently just finihsing my college course. I have attended sutton college and studied a BTEC National Diploma in Child Care Learning and Development at Level 3, i will have been fully qualified July 1st even though my teachin and relevent work is completed. I am currently looking for any available work seeing as i have now finished with my studying.

Over the last 2 years i have worked in a few early years settings. i first spent 8 months working in a day care setting. at this setting i cared for children aged 0-5 years. while here i helped with feeding, cleaning and general care routines and i also planned stimulating activites that were age and stage appropriate to the children i was working with.

i then moved onto my next setting which was a pre school. while here i worked in a classroom with children aged 3-4 years. i worked here for a period of 6 months. while here i once again took part in all relevent care routines and engaged children in activities to help promote development.

I have spent the last 6 months working in a school with children in year one aged 5-6 years. while here i have learned a lot about developing childrens education skills such as writing and reading.

I gained experience working with children with additional needs. i was only at this school for a very short amount of time but i enjoyed every minute of it. this setting involved me learning how to adapt teaching and activites to children who have a physical disability such as wheelchair user for example. while here i worker with children aged 2 - 11 years.

i have achieved a BTEC National Diploma in Child Care, Learning and Development at Level 3 (MMD grade).

I have also attended a first aid course which allows me to be qualified for 3 years commencing may 2010
