Oct 2009 to present Leigh village day nursery, Leigh on sea. Working as a nursery nurse with ages 1and half year olds to 2 year olds, supervising, planning activities, looking after their basic needs, nappy changing, providing snacks and 3 meals a day, supervising and planning outdoor play. Talking to parents and explain how their child has been throughout day.
Oct 2009 to Jan 2010, georgie porgie day nursery, Hadleigh, London Road, Working as a nursery nurse with the 1year olds to 2 and half year olds, planning activities to fit EYFS and supervising them indoor play and outdoor, planning trips outdoors, providing 3 meals a day and snacks, helping with everyday basic needs, nappy changing, talking to parents at the beginning and end of day, planning display boards for the childcare rooms.
April 2009 to oct 2009, Leigh village day nursery, Leigh on sea. Working as a nursery nurse as bank staff for first few months, covering staff, looking after children from babies to 5 years, assisting them with help such as feeding, supervision, Then from July 2009 working with babies up until 16 months, assisting with meals times, feeding times, nappy changing, supervision, carrying out activities to fit EYFS.
April 2008 to April 2009. Mark Warner holidays. Working as a nanny abroad in Greece for 6 months in a children’s holiday club, looking after ages from babies to 17 year olds, planning activities for the children, outdoor and indoor, taking the older children aged 10 to 17 year old outdoors on trip such as boat trips, supervising big groups and taking them sailing, windsurfing, planning beach activities, taking the younger and older children swimming, taking part in evening entertainment, taking the children to dinner in the evenings, also dealing parents and some complaints. Running coach transfers and assisting new holiday comers to rooms. This was a very demanding job; I learnt lots of new things through this job. I also working in Egypt in winter for 6 months this was the same job role as above in Greece.
