Wrote several Learning Experience Plans (L.E.P.) for my Responsive Environments 1 class that involved watching the children in the practicum centre, observing what they were interested in playing with, then planing an activity based on their interests.
Produced a number of written observations for Responsive Environments 1, and for Developmental Perspectives classes. Observed the children in the centre for various assignments to watch their would interactions with other people, and how they handled different situations.

Customer Service
Successfully took food orders over the phone and in person that resulted in a high customer satisfaction and return
Greeted customers with a friendly demeanor and a smile; customers mentioned their appreciation for being greeted in that fashion
Organization
Scheduled meetings for class group projects and booked the rooms to fit the group members schedules. The project was completed on time, every one was happy with the final outcome of the work
Reviewed work schedule and made sure there were no gaps, as a result I adjusted a few work times so that no one was alone in the store and there were always enough people working.
Financial
Placed orders to the bank to ensure an adequate amount of change
Counted the till before and after shifts and was able identify any variances from the night before
Prepared one of the bank books in the morning to make sure there was the correct amount of money in the safe; if the amount was incorrect, identify the source of the variance.

Work Experience:
Childcare
Provided babysitting services for a number of friends from 2009 to the present, the ages of the children range from 1 year to 5 years. Duties have included diaper changing, preparing meals, reading stories, going on outings, putting to bed, playing games and talking with the children. Whether located at parents' or my home I made sure of a clean and safe environment.

Kitchen staff
Chocolat: Victoria BC November 2010 - Present Day (Seasonal)
Filling, emptying, cleaning and re-filling of chocolate back into the molds to make them ready for customers.

Aberdeen Care Home,Victoria BC June 2010-September 2010 (Summer employment only)
Assisted with personal grooming and feeding, giving client water and vitamins through a G-tube and providing companionship while taking the client on outings. Assisted the client in participating with activities on the other floors. Helped with stretching and bending his legs, feet and arms, putting on the dyna splint in the morning, and making sure that the client practiced oral aerobics.

Volunteer:
The Cridge Center, Victoria BC September 2009 – November 2009
Helped the staff put the children down for their naps, which made the transition easier for every one. Assisted the staff in setting up the arts and crafts tables, and getting the children ready for out side play. Read the children stories, had conversations with them, and was involved with their play. When the parents came to pick the children up at the end of the day talked about what their child had done that day, what their child liked about the activities from the previous day, and they would tell me anything that their child was excited about for that week at home.
