PROFILE
I am a full time student currently studying songwriting and performance at Brighton Institute of Modern Music. I plan to build a career in music and working with children. I love the challenge of new ventures and can work independently as well as in teams.
I am a singer/songwriter accomplished in the acoustic guitar who is currently undergoing a project to write a successful children's album including a book, videos and possibly merchandise. I find the project is a great opportunity for me to build my skills and experience with childcare which is something I would like to intergrate into my future as a musician.
Work Experience
September 2010 - Now
Brighton Peace Choir assistant - Helping children between the ages of 7-10 learn about peace, loving, and caring through teaching them songs. Learning children's songs, holding their attention, keeping groups under control, being responsible for children.
October 2009 – Now
Open Mic Night Host/Compere – Hosting open mic night every week, promoting, making connections, organising acts to play, hospitality, keeping the audience interested and involved
February 2011
Performed with Brighton Children’s Peace Choir at House of Commons – Assisted choir leader in teaching the children to sing various songs about peace, love and the environment. Looked after children for a day, keeping them entertained, being responsible for them.

Sales Assistant – Dealing with customer enquiries/complaints, promoting specials offers and deals, being a personal shopper, help keep the store organised and tidy, help keep the store up to date with latest entertainment charts and releases, working both as a team and solely

Buying Systems Administrator – Online parts buying system. Administered names of the buyers on the system.

Midget & Giant – Played in acoustic duo, went on three one week tours around the country; including a tour with Harry & The Potters where the audiences were under 18's only. Performed over 50 gigs, recorded a demo and an EP, which was promoted through press, radio play and gigging

Legal Administration Assistant – Helped on a £7,000,000 litigation case, doing evidence analysis by looking through works completion notes for fraud.
Equipment Buying Coordinator – Managed and ordered a range of equipment, from cutlery to newspaper stands, for over 1000 Somerfield stores across the country, as well as dealing with customer complaints and queries.
