I am a student at Otley College; I have completed a course in Fish husbandry at level 2, I will progress on to the National Diploma, which is at a level 3. Work experience is required during my second course. My ambition is to work with marine life preferly with orca whales, but I have interest in all aspects of fisheries and aquatics.

I am 19 years old and have a love for all creatures and am passionate regarding their welfare.

Haven Veterinary Practice July 2008 – August 2008
(I was mainly a kennel maid; my job was mainly looking after the animals that had their operations, I was in charge of feeding, helping the nurses, going through the weekly job list and I did lots of cleaning with loads of different chemicals which included trigene. I once also was relied on to stay and work over time to help one of the nurses, in which I helped her successfully.)

Work Experience:

The Colchester Archaeological Trust July 2007

(This placement was for my year 10 work experience, I was working with another person my age that was also on work experience. Our jobs differed really, one day we would be drawing or sketching the finds and another day we would be washing the clay tiles. The work experience was quite rewarding as I had some fun and I expanded my knowledge.
