Emma Mcculloch
I am a bubbly, friendly person who enjoys working with children and babies. I began my childcare experience in 2004 by completing my NVQ level 3, followed by NVQ level 4 in 2007. I have worked in a few day nurseries, with children aged 0-5 years, but mostly with 1-2 year olds. I worked as a nanny for two children aged 6 months and 2 years. This included some light housework and cooking also.
I am currently studying for my Nursing degree following a two year job on a special care baby unit where i cared for premature and newborn babies. I completed a course and became a resuscitation trainer and taught many parents resus skills. I have good creative skills and enjoy outdoor activities and sports.
I have spent 6 weeks in a special needs school as a placement for my nursing degree. This included children with autism and physical disabilities.
I am flexible and have found myself with a lot of time off in the day and evening. I am on annual leave from uni now till 20th June.
