I consider myself to be a reliable, trustworthy and enthusiastic person who is able to work well in a team as well as being able to work on my own initiative. My personal strengths include being caring, a good listener and having consideration for others. I am also capable of working when under pressure. Employment History:

22/06/09 - 02/02/10: Lady Bird children's nursery, Cruddas park, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear. Nursery Nurse.
Duties Included: working with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, mainly in the 1- 2 years room. Planning activities suited to the children's age's and recording and monitoring their development using the key worker system. Following the early years foundation satge curriculum, and any other tasks as required including feeding, changing and dressing the children.

01/09 - 06/09: Worked for Mrs Tracey Wills.
Duties Included: Delevering papers to residents in the area of bedilington northumberland.

04/08 – 07/08: Places for children day nursery, Newburn riverside industrial estate, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear. Nursery Nurse. (As part of college course)
Duties included: Planning and carrying out activities for 0 – 5 years
Make observations, record and monitor the development of 0 – 1 years
Follow the birth to three matters curriculum
Assist staff members with light cleaning through out the day and before leaving the setting.
Feed, change and dress the children
Assist other staff members with any other day to day tasks as required.
Follow all policies and procedures.

2009 A4e Training Newcastle upon Tyne
This was a thirteen week course aimed at covering employability skills sessions including job search, motivation, telephone techniques, budgeting, soft skills, rights and responsibilities at work and interview techniques. As part of the training, it offered the opportunity to access high quality work experience placements in order to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the labour market combined with the opportunity to work towards a recognised qualification and sustainable employment.
